Nexenta

Sweet and salty popcorn best describes Nexenta. OpenSolaris kernel but still using many GNU tools and such: the best of both worlds. The balls robustness of Solaris with easiness of the GNU userland, Debian to be specific, makes it easy to use Solaris. I've just got it running and I quite love it. I love Debian by itself, especially for apt-get.

Life with eeeXubuntu.

Well, I finally chose eeeXubuntu. Install was quick and configuring was even easier. After some kernel updates, I did have to recompile the madwifi drivers. I also have to find and compile Ralink drivers, since without them, the other dongle that I use doesn't have monitor mode enabled.
Its pretty minimal right now, I just updated and installed some security/penetration programs.
Anywho, I shall be off (I'm quite tired too)....
